Bathroom assessories

I like making useful things look pretty (as oppose to just making pretty things – it’s a “me”-thing, don’t ask). This is such a classic example:

We needed refillable soap and lotion bottles at the office, so I bought two pump-action see-through bottles, one for soap (“seep”) and one for body lotion (“handeroom”), then decorated them using seashell images, vinyl alphabet stickers, raffia and a sea star trinket. I used Glossy Accents to stick the alphabet stickers down (after removing the glue first), because that’s the only thing I know of that might last when exposed to moisture and lots of handling. I’ve never made something like this before, so it will be interesting to see how long it is going to last before stuff start to come off 🙂

Some unusual stamping

I did some stamping yesterday, but of a very peculiar nature.

Johan wanted to reduce his baggage before flying overseas, so I had the task of filling and labeling these small bottles. Well, the only substance I own that will not come off even when scratched, is StazOn ink. He was quite surprised when he thought I was just ‘quickly going to label the bottles’, and I whipped out my stamps!
